HBX Control System - One Platform for Hydronic and Forced Air HEating & Cooling & Heat Pumps Control
Why HBX Control System?
In Buildings with combined Radiant Floor and Forced Air Heating and Cooling Systems, we find one thermostat for the infloor heating / cooling system and another thermostat for forced air system. Such combined system with individual thermostat for each system end up heating and cooling at the same time in mid season temperatures. Situation get worse, in buildings with simultaneous cooling and heating demand, where air is cooled in winter and re-heated for zones with heating demand.
Also traditional zone control systems, such as Taco, Tekmar, etc... requires Expensive dedicated WIFI routers in order to have remote zones control.
With HBX, one Thermostat measures Slab Temperature, Room Temperature and/or DHW Temperature and one Zone Controller can control Heat Transfer Fluid supply to infloor loops as well as air supply to ventilation zones, thus preventing the situation with heating by the floor and cooling with the forced air system at the same time and in the same zone. Also HBX products have integrated WIFI connectivity without the need to have a dedicated router.
WIFI Thermostat - THM 0600
THM-0600 is a very versatile, WIFI enabled thermostat that can measure room temperature (either on the thermostat or via a remote wired sensor), floor or slab sensor as well as Domestic Hot Water (DHW) temperature. This sensor can be used in radiant heating, radiant cooling, forced air heating / cooling as well as DHW heating or any combination of the above when connected to ZON-0600 Controller.
A 4 stage fully programmable P.I.D thermostat. The large, full graphic display with a low profile is easy to read and simple to navigate using the touch screen control. The thermostat features a low power idle mode with a dim screen when not in use. When connected to the internet with the Wi-Fi Zoning system, the Thermolinx™ mobile app allows you to control the thermostat remotely anytime, anywhere.
ZON-0600 Wi-Fi Enabled Stand-Alone / Expandable Zone Control
The ZON-0600 can operate zone valves, zone pumps or zone dampers the choice is yours. Each module allows control up to 4 individual zones with the ability of wireless expansion between modules.
ZON-0600 features a full color touch screen display that allows you to view multi-zone operation status and zone temperatures. The enclosure also features a brand new black glossy color that will update and modernize any mechanical room.
Each controller is now Wi-Fi enabled eliminating the need to use the Thermolinx Wi-Fi module for online connection. Each zone can be viewed or configured from your smartphone or tablet devices, allowing you to control your comfort anytime or anywhere.
ECO-0600 Air to Water and Geothermal ECO-0600 Control
The ECO-0600 can control up to four (4) heat pump stages (air-to-water or water-water) or chillers and a reversing valve with outdoor temperature reset control. The ECO-0600 is designed to be a stand –alone outdoor reset control device. The purpose and function of the ECO-0600 is to provide control for geothermal applications with the ability control equipment in a 2 pipe, single or dual tank, hydronic heating or cooling system.
This powerful control can control a backup heat source (boiler) while operating three (4) heat pump stages. The backup heat source can be brought on with a few different options based on outdoor or tank temperatures. The control can manage single tank or dual tank applications with separate hot and cold tanks. The control also features DHW (domestic hot water) control with any application.
Used in conjunction with the free HBX Sensorlinx™ mobile app, users can control their Heat Pump system remotely from there smartphone or tablet devices with the ability to adjust heat pump and backup parameters, monitor tank temperatures, equipment operation status and receive alarm notifications.
